Flipboard on iPhone

We’ve written about Flipboard in the past, absolutely it’s my favourite RSS / News reader for iPad. Having tried a few and specifically looking for an RSS reader that works with Google Reader – Flipboard has been a staple now for a long time.

This week the iPhone version has been released and it is a cracker! Signing up for a free Flipboard account on your iPad means that you can have the same data shared on both devices without having to setup your feeds and social networks again.

The interface has been migrated perfectly to the iPhone screen size. The way that it displays attached images from Twitter and Facebook is very impressive, displaying images as a background behind the tweet or message looks great and unlike many Twitter apps you don’t need to move off to another screen to see the attached images.

If you’re already an iPad user, grab the iPhone version it’s a very natural extension of what you’re used to on the iPad. If you are new to Flipboard, perhaps start with our previous posts then dive right in!
